Pictured here are sketches I'm currently working on for different elements of the first preliminary sketch of the installation. This particular sketch is of me working out ideas for the long hallway of the gallery space. As well as physically manifesting on paper the visions I have for some of the life size human casts that will be found throughout the installation space.
The particular paints shown are a mixture of gauche and watercolor.

I'm currently researching different casting methods for the life casts. It's very important to me that the casts be made out of a material that is clear and or translucent so light can pass through it. One of the possiblities I'm looking into is 3D printing along with other including casting in resins and other materials. Or, using the same casting method I've been using for the past 6 years. (More on that later. )
This section is after I retraced the drawn lines with ink. The shapes here are representing a sculptural wall that will be created out of mussel shells.
